New Food and Drink Vendors for the Ground and City Square | Edible coffee cups introduced

I saw them advertising that in the ground on that daft thing that keeps going round telling us the different stats about us and the club we are playing, I just kept thinking it was a bit of a stupid thing to be advertising at a football match. More for your polo posh types that. No disrespect intended to vegans. I didn’t realise it was one of our outlets.
I think your stereotypes are about 35 years out of date. Manchester has some excellent vegan and vegetarian options, fake meat is a huge and growing market, and even Gregg's do a few vegan things which sold out when they launched them and made them a load of money. I'm vegetarian, I'm grateful for a few options around the ground, if you don't want them don't buy them!

am I allowed to say I have yet to meet a vegan who is not a ****?

And do you think Tolmie gives a fuck what you’d prefer? If his son wants a cheese toastie at the ground then such is his choice. My son wanted a chicken balti pie at the ground, of course I could have gone to a chippy or pie shop and got him one but he wanted one at the ground. It’s called being a nice dad.
With tolmies connection to the club and solid itk info I'd certainly take his word over that of a pound shop pundit like @bluealf when it comes to cheese toasties.

They have opened a Vegan Indian restaurant in Altrincham, good luck with that.

I went to a vegan wedding once - oh my god. The bride looked like death warmed up and totally drained face and was telling me all the virtues of a vegan diet. I am a bit of a fat bastad but positively glow. Anyone the food was utterly tragic but the worse bit of the day was the stupid woman telling me an egg was a chickens period. Put me off eggs for about six months and at the time I was recovering from my Wembley jerk chicken experience. (Not sure I have mentioned that on here but will next time we get to Wembley). Her word still ring in my ears occasionally when I am tucking into my scrambled eggs so maybe that is why my judgement on vegans is perhaps slightly impacted. I have yet to find a nice one yet but will keep looking.
