New Food and Drink Vendors for the Ground and City Square | Edible coffee cups introduced

Indian is probably the best vegan food on the planet.

Almost half of India’s population is vegetarian, and their cuisine is reflective of this.
These restaurants aren’t a new thing, there are loads of them in South Manchester. Sanskruti in Ladybarn and the former Southern Hotel in Chorlton have been going for years now

I mentioned Sanskruti above. Amazing food in there - they do a really good roasted aubergine dish called ‘ringan no oro’ and a smoky spinach puree thing that’s absolutely banging.

No meat though so maybe I’m mistaken and it’s just “vegan shite”

I’m not vegetarian or vegan and I love the food in there

I think your stereotypes are about 35 years out of date. Manchester has some excellent vegan and vegetarian options, fake meat is a huge and growing market, and even Gregg's do a few vegan things which sold out when they launched them and made them a load of money. I'm vegetarian, I'm grateful for a few options around the ground, if you don't want them don't buy them!

I have friends who are vegans, in fact one of my daughters in law is almost one, she just likes eggs and some dairy products. I am very sorry that I trod on your toes and maybe it was a silly stereotype but it was not a wholly serious post. I try not to offend people and I did state no disrespect but maybe you missed that line?
Sorry :-)

No all good, like I'm say I'm just mostly happy I have an option outside of a cheese pie!

Funnily enough I don’t like cheese pies with or without onions! I like cheese but not in pies. I have been waiting 18 months for a meat and potato pie from the stadium and they had none. (I never thought I’d say this but they are even better than Holland’s!)
