Germany fans banned from buying number 44 kits over Nazi symbolism

Media said the number 44 on the shirts resembled the symbol used by WW2-era Nazi SS units.

It's not like the founder, Adolf Dassler and his brother (who made Puma) joined the Nazi Party 3 months after Hitler was a part of it in 1933 or anything!

Nope...

As you guessed, I wasn't being entirely serious about the link between Adidas' founder, the Nazi party and the German FA. Wasn't aware of the family link with Puma, mind. The bit about them not speaking English, though; no comment (in English, German or any other language)!
