Stupid sticky up bit on the collar and as for blue shorts....WTF

It really does make you wonder where these people get their ideas and I doubt I will ever see a shirt as beautiful as the 2009/10 example

I much preferred this...

Me too! And now think the new one is a step up also!

Please please be a fake.. White stripe down the side

Would be a massive step back from the last two in my opinion

(Not sure who to get the image showing, hence posting the link)

He quite possibly sewed it together!

-- Fri Jul 15, 2011 11:09 am --

I just didn't get why there wasn't a white collar. It totally spoilt the shirt

I didn't think it looked too bad when I first saw it and seeing these better quality pics I actually think it's really quite nice imo. I was worried when I heard blue shorts but seeing Komps and AJ wearing the kit, they actually look fine as part of the kit :)

Just had the "newsletter" through the post advertising it and there are WHITE SHORTS.

I reckon we may play in them in the CL...

(As I mentioned a few pages back...)

I'd be happy with that.

Ive just got back from the city shop on market street on my dinner,
the new kit is in the window and in a dipslay case inside.
From seeing it "in the flesh" i can say it does look a lot better. The dots are a bit weird i know, but it does look better in person

Just isn't Manchester City.

That's not quite true is it...? 1951-1960

For the benefit of those that haven't seen my earlier rants, I am rather against the blue shorts. It seems there are a fair few who share my view that this is not really "City" and looks more like Coventry.

I appreciate there are those that really don't give a toss, but even the majority of them seem to prefer us in white shorts if given the choice.

I, and I'm sure City and Umbro would be interested to see what the general consensus is among City fans.

Could someone please make a poll, very simple.

Q. Would you prefer to see City play in...

A. Blue shirts, white shorts, blue socks
or
B. Blue shirts, blue shorts, striped socks.
