I'm glad this was posted as it might make some customers wake up and see the "club" for what it really is - a football supermarket.

The best customers (according to City) are ones that spend the most.
Doesn't matter if you were paying a few pence to watch City in the 70's and continue your support today... If a customer comes along and he's spending thousands on Hospitality and shirts for all the family, he's MCFC's priority.

How else could it be?
Football is truly global now and we as a club need to compete on a global basis for 'fans' and revenue and we are starting to get pretty good at it! If we want the best players and we want to win trophies then serious amounts of revenue is required. Remember FFP is based around revenue / turnover and not profitability or cash.
All credit to the club for doing what they are are doing and on such a scale and in such a short timescale.

I haven't seen the job description or noted any context around its posting and purpose, but I am shocked, outraged and embarrassed. No wonder the country is going to the dogs. It's PC gone mad it is.

Like it or not City have been a business since they formed as a Limited Company in 1894. Under the current owners it's a quid pro quo, we get to watch the best players who are paid top dollar wages and win us trophies but in return we have to tolerate marketing strategies as outlined in that ad.

Nobody forces you to contribute to these strategies of course, personally I haven't bought a City top for 3 or 4 years, my spending direct to City is largely restricted to my S/card and a match programme.

This is how i feel

Might sound harsh (and I'll probably get shit for this) but I don't mind if the the club milk the foreign fans for all they're worth. If it means I get to watch the best players in the world week in week out then I'm happy.
Agree 100%

Me too.

Very Harsh and selfish! Yet how many of us agree with the sentiment....i do if i'm honest

Why is it harsh? The sole purpose of a business is to make money. It is a money making enterprise. It just happens our favorite business's best avenue to making money is too win.

I'm a foreign fan. All I see from them trying to "milk" me is better access to services, information and gear then we've had previously. They're providing better service and we choose whether or not we want to pay for it. There isn't anything offensive at all about it.
