Any particular reason why other clubs' kits are being posted on here?

Thread title is 'new kit 14-15'

Doesn't say 'new City kit 14-15' !
Take it from me, because I know to my cost; no-one likes a smart arse!

:-(

Anyway;
''Bluemoon Forum; all City related discussion''
''General Football Forum; all other fotoball related issues''

So there!!

No one likes a smart arse you are right jimbo, so can you tell this dumbo what fotoball is please?

;o)

Every year it's the exact same, shirt gets leaked, then everyone comes on here and starts slagging it off. Lets wait and see some proper pictures of it with shorts and socks. We have had worse than this.

That is fucking dreadful

Oh fucking hell.
That is minging. And I bet it comes with blue shorts and black trim. *barfs*

Plain blue, white trim - is it really so difficult?? There's lots of variation you can do with just those 2 ingredients just look at the fan designed stuff that gets posted on bluemoon ffs !!

I despair!

As "Manchester City" a club with a sky blue home kit, we've had black shorts and socks for one year (1895-96) and black on the socks for one year (1899-1900), and that was it in the entire MCFC history until 2012-13. The black trim and badge was bobbins last year and this one, if real, looks bobbins as well.

Over our history we've had navy socks for over 70 years but it has not been seen for ages. Sky blue shirts with white trim, white shorts and navy socks with sky blue turn-overs was our home kit solidly from 1921-51 and sky-white-navy shirts-shorts-socks in any form solidly from 1900-1951. When I first started watching City in the late 80s we had the sky-white-navy shirts-shorts-socks for the first six years I supported our club.

Sky-white-navy is Manchester City FC to me. We've had that combo FAR more than any other throughout our history; 74 of our years, I think (sky-white-sky being second with just 26 years).

What's happened to it?

Totally agree with you. Sky blue, white and navy socks IS Manchester City to me. No other team in the world wears that as far as I'm aware.

Has anyone liked any of our shirts since the 2009/10 Unbro masterpiece ? because every year since then, every fucker moans about the new one.

It's because we just won the league, moaners got to moan. It's blue, it's a football shirt, it looks smart enough, that will do.

I know it wasn't popular, but I liked last season's kit, the umbro one with the black collar. The black badge was a bit shite, but apart from that it wasn't THAT bad. I wasn't that gone on the 11/12 title winning shirt, but that now has a place in our history (''Agueeeerrrroooooo'').
