As with all businesses, City's decisions are more influenced by financial considerations more than customer satisfaction and only a mass boycott will let them and Nike now that this crap is simply unacceptable.

lol, the situation is the shittier the shirt is for "us" the loyal fan, the more likely they are to sell them around the world.

Sure, we won't be buying the shirt, but you can guarantee 2mil. more Koreans will be doing... So Nike/MCFC don't give a fuck about us.

Haven't bought any merchandise since Nike came in. it's cheap overpriced shit
 
To maximise sales etc why dont city and nike just open it up to fans to make designs and then vote on them with the winning choices being the kits! If there was a huge majority win then the club and nike would know its a definite seller!

Npot necessarily. Most fans on here love the red and black striped away kit, yet I read on here that Umbro said it wasn't actually that big a seller.
 
Absolute shite. I'm done with the shirts anyway, apart from retro maybe.

I don't actually mind the picture posted.

What I don't understand though, if they're determined to use the shield, why not make it match the colour of the shirt as much as possible to make it less obvious?

Don't be like that, it's made from 13 recycled plastic bottles and cost fuck all to make and those lovely people at nike are gona charge us all £60 odd quid for em!!!!
 
Havent bought one since 09/10, now they were class, bought all 3 without thinking twice about it, none have tickled my fancy since.

How come we keep seeing all these classy looking nike kits yet we keep getting shite?
 
Fucking shield is not even same color as the shirt, so it sticks out even more than necessary!

IF we have to have a "one piece" badge on the kit, then it NEEDS to be ROUND, rather than this hideous "shield," which has to massive just to fit the fucking eagle and stars in it!

TBH, I'd much prefer the shirt WITHOUT the shield and NO BADGE AT ALL, as it's clearly a City shirt, even without the badge! Heading to Shanghai next week, will see what they have out there!
 
Fecking shield. If they matched the colour with the swoosh and sponsor it might work .... Otherwise its pointless it being there
 
Nike now remind me of Umbro in the mid 90's. Us and rags on their books and designed some real shite towards the end of the deal
