I actually dislike it more after seeing it on the lads.

Very cheap, afterthought effort. Looks as though Nike is looking to increase the margin for shirt sales (and make their deal with us even more lucrative).

Probably going against everyone else, but I don't like it at all. Think the collar looks unfinished, don't like the black on the sleeves and hate the badge being on that shield thing. Overall think it looks pretty cheap and nasty so I don't think I'll be buying one this year.

Ah well, maybe next season's will be more to my taste. Then again, at 43 yrs old I guess I'm no longer target market so it probably won't!

No it doesn't really help. I thought it looked cheap and nasty too though, but just seen it up close in town and it is actually pretty well made; much more like the Umbro ones than last years kit.

Sad to see that shite badge is back. I seriously hope Nike is not going to have that cheap shield crap on all their shirts or I won't be buying a new City shirt for a LONG time. Is it really so hard just to use the badges Umbro did, I mean seriously it can't make that much of a price difference. Also annoys me how the rags are getting Adidas and they make lush kits over the crap Nike put out

Edit: Apart from the badge I think it's alright, But with that badge it's still a no-buy for me unless I can get it for silly money at the end of the season

Close.... but clearly a bad copy. Etihad is out of place, badges wrong shade and general shape of shirt all wrong. Looks like a totally different material as well. Ah well. Pay cheap, pay twice they say.

Shirt looks ok but as previously mentioned as a 40 year old I'm not the target market. My 3 kids are and love it so do their mates so I'm sure city and nike will sleep easy. Pre-ordered for all 3, and even with discount still a small fortune...saying that they will wear it all summer, so everyone's a winner. Don't see why everyone gets so worked up about it all !!

Looks better when you see it on Vinnie etc and rather better than all the leaked stuff - much of which I assume is fake.

I think Nike have better templates than one used but it is way better than lots of kits we have had.

The traditionalist in my would bemoan the absence of white but we have had sky blue shorts before and we have had the dark blue trim so the current combo is hardly an outrageous departure. Also the dark blue trim does make the kit a little more imposing looking.

Worst thing remains the shield.

Wmah, you're hardly build as Kompany anyway. See you at Wembley in 4 weeks?

I won't be buying the shirt anyhow but I might wear last season's freebie from Etihad at Wembley.
