new kit

Entitled to your opinion but I am also born and bred Manchester and I feel 0% Lancastrian and always will. The original county of Lancashire will have similarly been created by some ye olde civil servant type also so theres no point getting all romantic about it.

Well they did have a black shirt with white and gold on it - but so have Pompey and Spuds...and loads others, so not a biggie really.

The old badge features (in place of the three rivers of Manchester) the red rose of Lancashire. I know that Manchester was, historically, part of Lancashire but ask any Mancunian under the age of about 50 and they will not regard themselves as Lancastrians.
For me:
MANCHESTER = CITY
LANCASHIRE = Blackburn, Preston, Blackpool, pie eating etc.
I dont want a red rose on the badge!
