My tinitus/sinusitus is driving me batshit...
So I am playing video tunes I have played before on youtube, loudly...

Can someone please tell me what the actual fuck is going on with the two kids on Elvis Costello's 'Good year for the roses' ??

I am even more disturbed than normal!
Its weird to fuck!!

You have my sympathy on the tinitus, mines not too bad at the moment but when it's bad it's hard work.

As for Elvis Costello, I'd forgotten that video and yup they are proper weird. The story goes that they are the daughters of the local music teacher from whom they borrowed the violin that Steve Nieve is playing in the video. Depending on who you believe they were either there as a quid pro quo for borrowing the violin or to keep an eye on it to make sure it didn't get smashed or something.

Creepy as fuck. They come off like one of those things where only certain people can see them and if you can then you're fucked.

The Savage Blush brought out their second album, Ether Dome, yesterday.

Proper psych-rock. Some decent tracks on there, not sure this has mass appeal but it’s right up my street.

British band Black Market Karma brought out a collaborations album called Friends In Noise, this year.

The pick is this one with Tess Parks on vocals:

Always loved Tess’ voice!

This is one of my favourite tracks of the year to date…

British band The Big Moon’s album, 2 Lines, came out in 2022 but they have done an edit of the opening title track from the album and have released it as a single this year.

The Black Delta Movement have released their new album, Recovery Effects, today.

I’ve not listened to the full album yet but their first three singles from it have been proper top level… to the point where this could be my best album of the decade to date if the whole album is that good.

Here’s their YouTube channel:

Debut single from a band called Trueman And The Indoor League

Beauty, this one:

Their album, Changing Lights, is out in two weeks.
