New track by The Black Delta Movement, ‘Fourth Pass Over The Graveyard’.

It surprised me to learn that these lads are from Hull, they sound more like the other ‘Black…name’ bands from America like The Black Angels and Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, than a British band.

Barrie Cadogan (Little Barrie) features in the studio on guitar on the above track with drum legend Malcolm Catto (The Heliocentrics) producing the track.

Their new album, Recovery Effects, is out on 14th April.

Their first album, Preservation, from 2018 is well worth a listen n’all.

The Tubs released their debut album yesterday - Dead Meat.

Not sure what I think of it myself, only listened to a few tracks but know that some on here are post-punk fans.
I listened to this after seeing your post. One track stood out as really good (sniveller) since then I have listened to the album a few times and I'm impressed.
Ta for posting.

Shame have a new album (their third) coming out on 24th February, called Food for Worms.

Heard this track from it this week:

Mega!

One I mentioned in the OP, Baby Cool, has her album, Earthling on the Road to Self Love, coming out tomorrow.

Cool as fuck!

EDIT- just listened to this album, it’s very good!

One of my favourite bands have just released their twentieth(!) album. The Brian Jonestown Massacre’s The Future Is Your Past is out today.

Anton Newcombe recorded something like 70 songs in 2021. He put the demos on YouTube and asked fans for feedback to improve on them. He’s brought out two albums in the last year with a selection of those tracks. One of the most prolific in music?

They were on at The Ritz last week but I’ve not been well enough to go to gigs.

Keep Music Evil!

A thread to keep us up to date with new releases from bands we know, new and up and coming bands and artists… singles, albums, release dates, music videos, tours etc.

Two I’m looking forward to early in the year are the new albums by Gaz Coombes and Baby Cool.

Gaz Coombes - Turn the Car Around comes out this Friday (13th January)

He’s released a few singles from the album already, ‘Feel Loop (Lizard Dream)’ being a stand-out:

And Baby Cool is a new side project by lead singer of Nice Biscuit, Grace Cuell.

Baby Cool - Earthling on the Road to Self Love comes out on 10th February.

She’s also released a few singles from the album already, loving the laidback psych vibe to them. ‘Magic’:

Cool as fuck!

Aussies must be the most prolific for decent new music, bands, artists, especially in psych rock and pop, and considering their population, in the world these days.
