Tbh, I've been a little obsessed with the latest Baxter Dury album lately (Not something I would have listened to a couple of years ago).

From Dublin as well and in a similar vane. Some reckon better than Fontaines.

I just had a quick listen. I found this. I will watch it after I give the Fontaines album a spin.
At first listen, they sound like Fontaines but a with a little more shouty vocals like Idles.

It features backing vocals fro Joe Elliott of Def Leppard, but I don't let that put me off ...





Also new music, but from a very old band ..... Blue Oyster Cult have today released ('dropped' for you kids) their first new album since 2001, titled The Symbol Remains The Same. Yet to hear it myself, but hearing some great things about it and looking forward it arriving.

Only crossed swords with this outfit in the last year and for a Norwegian band they really do hold all the aces. Predominantly concentrating on covers of their own interpretation by playing bluegrass versions of well known hard rock and metal songs. I like them a real lot and think they have mucho potential.

Steve and the Seagulls this is your big chance to shine as you now hold Moon centre stage.
