New official City website

Has anyone had chance to check out the Beta version of the new official City website?

I've had a quick look, it looks like the content is much the same, but slightly different layout and more emphasis on social media. Seems ok to me.

Any tech / design minded people managed to have a look? @Ric @Damocles @GeekinGav

Don't like it personally, but I don't like the current one either, so its not made a great deal of difference.

I'm guessing the colour scheme will change on the final version mate. I'm not definite, maybe one of the techy guys could confirm, but I assume the fact it's a "Beta" version means things like colour schemes etc are open to change?

Seems a little bit cleaner to me with the white background, can't really put my finger on why but I quite like it

Nice to see the club is focusing their efforts on the important stuff.

First impression is not keen, but I've seen enough new web sites and new branding to know they take time to get used to and can change from the beta version I did think the menus were clearer than the old site though. Just remember the initial reaction to the new badge.
The other thing is I have looked on my pc but websites are designed a lot more with phone and tablets in mind these days.

I like it. I hope they will incorporate the Ticket site into the main one to avoid the need to log in twice, it's a bit rubbish to navigate at present.

Wish websites would stop assuming everyone views their sites on mobiles or tablets and dumbing them down into big shiny squares to touch with your bloody finger..

I sit at a desktop PC - don't say i'm old! It's more that i'm skint..
