Jeesus, there's some wet fannies on here. Are you all just having knee jerk moments by agreeing with the first negative post?
They've changed the website address to www.mancity.com and you all get your panties in a twist over a supposed 're-brand'. When I talk to the wife or anyone at work say, I don't refer to MCFC or Manchester City or Manchester City Football Club, I call us Man City or just City. Does this say Man City or Manchester City btw?
The new website is brilliant by the way (super speedy, very slick) and anyone who thinks it looks 'amaturist' has absolutely no idea of modern web design.
Don't say 'Football Club'

I found my way into the shop but then couldn't get back to the home page from there,had to go out and back into the main site again,can't say i fancied anything with the new badge on,i will wait for the training kit to come out

I had a fridge magnet sewn onto my Winter cap. Naturally, I removed the magnet before attaching the badge to said cap, and I see that there is a fridge magnet with the new badge on. Wonder why they don't do a simple embroidered badge like they used to so you can attach it to a variety of stuff without losing a finger gettin' a fuckin' magnet off!

No, Karen. The magnet was one of those embedded into some rubbery material that I separated from the PVC badge.

Badge looks good.
I don't like the side panel on the website. Spoils the rest of the web-site and if I want up to date info, we can all find it by our favourite ways.
Name mancity doesn't bother me, but don't see why it's changed. Is their some logic behind it?
They're really trying to push the "City" name as the brand for the whole group.
The previous website and social media of "Mcfc" didn't have any mention of "City" so to the uninitiated, they may have not known what "mcfc" related to.
The club sent out a questionnaire a while back asking what you would change the online name to, if anything. None of them were ideal. "Mcfc" has no mention of "City". "ManchesterCity" is too long really.
That leaves "ManCity". I hate us being referred to as that, it's only usually fans from the US, or fans of clubs like Leicester City that call us "Man City" it's just "City" to everyone else. But I guess "City.com" wasn't available.
I think for the website and social media "ManCity" is probably the best option. I will never refer to us as "Man City" in conversation, but then I never referred to us as "mcfc" in conversation either.

Click on the tshirts bit and it takes you to the shop,it's not clear at all like it used to behow do you get on to the shop bit.im useless but cant see it on the menu

No idea how you two have managed that but on both my home PC and my works one the link for the shop is there along the top, on the mobile you touch the menu link which drops down to reveal all of the links including the shop.Thats weird,i only use a laptop as i have an old fogey phone that would combust if i went online lol
