New PL Commercial rule passed (pg4) | City rumoured to be questioning the legality

City are 100% owned by CFG which is owned by Newton Investments and Development LLC, 81.84% and Silver Lake 18.16%.

So if Newton sold to Silver Lake then yes the Etihad deal could in no way be deemed a related party under any rules

Silver Lake rarely, if ever, have controlling interest in any business

We will have to wait and see the details
I thought there was a Chinese group in there too?

Do we know what these new rules actually are? Last meeting there were two rules voted down: no loans between associated parties and requirement for two other bids supporting the value of any winning associated bid. Anyone know what has actually been voted through this time? I would be surprised if either affect City at all, tbh. More likely Newcastle, and the Saudis won't take much shit, I imagine.
I am I correct in thinking this is any NEW deals?

Doesn't seem to bother Liverpool and Rag fans - everyone one of them are experts in European football law, PL rules, FFP rules and human rights issues. I'm amazed that with all of their studying they have to do to amass this vast knowledge that they have time to post their knowledge on social media
They need to listen to this then.

The premier want a closed “all American white” shop. We don’t like those pesky Arabs…

In this day and age were everything can be interpreted as racist, the league manage to get away it. Wonder why?

Because the pl is backed our racist press/media
