New season bets

I imagine most people thought there was zero chance a player like Kante would win it when the 16/17 season was in its infancy. He also played in a not particularly desirable position but put in more than enough eye catching performances to snag it.

Nothing to say Mendy can't do similar. Don't get me wrong, it's a very tough ask as the competition is strong. Paddy Power and Betfair have him at 25/1 which is way too skinny. But 80/1 I think represents a more than decent punt and early indications suggest he's gonna have a monster season.

Chase value not winners and all that jazz.
Value is what I also go for when placing Football bets, apart from the odd fun bet. Mendy now down to 40/1 (from 80/1 yesterday) for Player of the year, must be all the fivers & tenners we all stuck on.

Three fun bets for me, all on skybet.
£10 Stake -Man City to win Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup & Champions League @ 200/1
£10 Stake - Man City to win Premier League, FA Cup & League Cup @ 33/1
£20 Stake - Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City & Tottenham each to score 75+ PL goals @ 25/1

going on what others have said, you have to spend the £10 and get the bet finished within a couple of days (simple horse race will do) then that activates the £30 free money. hope that helps senor goat

Careful with free bets, they'll have all sorts of conditions on. I fell foul of the 104 last year when they said it had to be settled in three months. There's 24,000 words in Betfairs terms and conditions. Hamlet only has 30,000. They like getting out of their headline bets.

That last one looks promising, good luck.

Lay Burnley 2.9 to be relegated. Started season at 5.0 and their bad start has brought the price in. Europe has taken its toll on them in the league but with them out now expect them to climb away from trouble

Shout out to @salfordblue-tony2 for the heads up on the 40/1 Spurs, Liverpool, Arsenal and City to score 75+ bet

Only four games I know but they're all on pace for that, currently stands at;

City: 11
Liverpool: 9
Spurs: 9
Arsenal: 8

My Marhez to score 20 goals bet isn't looking good :( But my Promotion treble with Pompey, WBA and Lincoln is chugging along nicely ; -)
