New Shirt / Free Scarf

Mine arrived today. Honestly wasn't expecting it until early next week as I live in the Irish countryside and the post is usually very slow.
Have to say I'm well impressed with the new home shirt. First one I have bought since 2009 and I like it more than that one.
Free scarf is great too.
Now if I could only find a few Irish reds to show off my gold badges to....Haven't seen a single red shirt all summer and for Ireland that is really saying something!!

imo the scarf is OK. not spectacular but could've been worse
And as for those cushions! Lawrence Lle-wotsit would have a fit if he saw them!

-- Thu Jul 26, 2012 3:50 pm --

Surprised to read that. I'm out in the sticks over here as well (not quite the arse end of nowhere, but you can see it from here!), and the last time I pre-ordered a shirt it arrived two weeks after the launch. Never again.

Not happy that my shirt hasn't arrived today. What's the point in pre-ordering
if they can't get it here on time?

how do you put a picture on?

Go to: http://imgur.com/ (no sign up, just follow the instructions to upload)

When the pic uploads, right-click it and select 'copy picture URL'.

Then paste that into your reply, highlight it and click the 'bigimg' above the reply box.

Easy.

There was me really looking forward to getting home from work and getting the new shirt which had arrived in the post. Opened it up, only to find I've been sent a 6-7 year old kit instead of what I ordered. Tried ringing them, but the line is constantly engaged. There is probably a kid out there somewhere who is just as pissed off as I am right now. :(

Wish I'd got it from the local JJB now!!

Went into sports direct this afternoon and got a shirt for £39.99 with free gold badges

I'm in Co. Cavan mate, about 90 mins from Dublin. In comparison to my native Prestwich it is really in the middle of nowhere.
Post from the UK goes from Dublin to Dundalk to Carrickmacross to my village and eventually to my door.
I ordered last year's home shirt for my dad last Monday and it arrived last Friday. So if my pre-ordered shirt hadn't arrived today I would have had a glimmer of hope for it to come tomorrow based on my dad's shirt order. But I have been waiting almost 2 weeks for a small package to arrive (not from MCFC, from eBay).
So from my experience here if I order from UK then it could be anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks.
Having said that I ordered an item from a store in Wisconsin, in the States a couple of weeks ago and it arrived in my post box in 4 days.
I have to say I am well impressed with City for getting this pre-order to me on launch day.
I have read a few complaints but in general I'm guessing that since KitBag took over the online shop it has made them very efficient.

Did anyone have to sign for theirs? Mine was just handed over by Postman.

That's not bad. Might bear that in mind when I'm over for the Saints game!

Delighted for you, and no; I'm not being sarky. As I said the only time I pre-ordered a shirt was (IIRC) the blue pinstripe Le Coq shirt. I ordered it the first day it was available on the OS and, as I said earlier, it eventually arrived two weeks after the launch date. Fucking useless service at that time, and i said then; never again, and I haven't. And believe me, compared to my native Moss Side (Claremont Road, 5 minutes walk from Maine Road), rural Mayo is the middle of nowhere!
