Save for Kane and a few others, though, it’s very much a buyer’s market, and we fo have the money to force a deal through even at this late stage . If it is a lesser player, however, he’ll unfortunately be viewed as a disappointment by some before he’s even kicked a ball.The problem is that because of the dithering with Kane we go into the last week of the window in a position of relative weakness looking to buy players that are probably not for sale. Fake Ronaldo or some other ageing earner someone wants off the books for financial reasons is probably our only option.
