Why do you give a shit what others think, was it really about the gloating. We've not lost anything, we tried for a player, he wanted to come but selling club wanted to keep.
I get the feeling some have just got a bruised ego and not that arsed originally about getting kane
 
Any possible alternatives to Ronaldo or the Serbian that you see happening?

what about Lautaro Martinez? We were linked with him a few times before, is he going to sign for Spurs still now Kane is staying? Is he even a striker or more of a wide man?
 
Lautaro is not someone who gives you large number of goals. creative player but more like Jovetic. will score a few, but not the typical 25-30 goal striker which hs stats clearly show. he needs a top scorer next to him and worked very well with Lukaku in a duo.

I'm a recent fan, but I've wondered how effective Foden or KDB would be as a striker.

And, I'd prefer to see Delap get some first team minutes at the position.

They have shown they can be effective in false 9/roving attacker role but I think a more traditional centre forward type would give Pep much greater options.
