It depends. He learned to play the line at Ajax so is technically and tactically comfortable moving around the front positions, and at Nice he’s become better at dropping and feeding midfield runners. However, his natural game is sniffing around the box, and one of his best attributes is anticipating where the ball is going to go. He’s also composed in front of goal. Those are special talents and the ones we’re arguably missing, as most of our attackers either don’t gamble on attacking the spaces (i.e. front post) or fluff their lines when they find themselves one on one.
