weren't we hoping he would be back for the champions league final if we made it ???

surely we are working on a striker now even if it’s a loan ?

You can't mitigate against injury and given we've got, what, two weeks to go I can't see how we'd get someone even half capable of filling Aguero s boots.

We play one striker and have 2 good ones in Aguero and Jesus. I think 2 players per position is the plan and we have those in place. It's a shame about Aguero's injury but if it is only short-term, then I can't see us looking for somebody else.

No striker worth his salt is going to come here knowing full well he is third choice. Unless we are going to dig up some free transfer and throw him on the bench.

We simply cannot bring in another striker whilst Aguero is here. Current injury or not.

There is a shortage of world class strikers out there, even shorter list of ones who would make a move.

Any top young striker would jump at that opportunity at a club like ours.

Haven’t forgotten the great goals he scored from drifting inside. On the other hand I haven’t forgotten how somehow he consistently manages to miss open goals. Lyon wasn’t the first nor the second time he has done it.

We need to get rid of the deadwood , Otto, Zinchenko, etc, even loan them out, the market is picking up quickly, lots of action today.

We have to enter the market CB and with the Aguero news, we need a striker.

I cant see any strikers out there who would join as we are and that's probably the exact feedback Txiki has got.
