New striker?

Adama Traore is bad. I mean talk about one dimensional. The guy made a living out of scoring against us thanks to our old porous defence ( So happy to use the word OLD) and Mendy. They have better players in Neto and Podence we could look at. Talk about asking 80 million for this guy. Some clubs lose such good opportunities to sell players on a purple patch and miss out on millions. Dele Alli , Koulibaly and this guy come to mind.
Its either Halland or Felix for us. None of those Martinez Lukaku or Traore shit

Completely agree with everything you’ve written there, except for me I’d rather we re-sign Sancho than buy Felix. Definitely want Haaland at any price though, we absolutely need him more than any other club does.

It's crazy he's the fastest in the league, and one of the strongest, and a ridiculous dribbler, and he STILL has no end product.

no way will we ever got for him...he is not a pep type player nor a player for a team who dominate possession......he would be fine for a team like Leicester, Utd or even Liverpool who do sit deep and play on the break either at times or all the time.

Is Haaland a player for a team that dominates possession?

Haaland for £66.6m in 2022 sounds like an ideal plan - his release clause which activates then apparently.
So every major club in Europe wouldn't be also in then?

I any club wants to be sure to get him and not pay £500k a week wages they will have to pay to get him early

I think that maybe why we wont go for him......Ive not seen enough of him but he defintely works in that system..Ive not watched enough of him to know whether he can play in very small tight spaces. I also dont know whether he is capable of pressing as part of a front 3 though he has the atheltiicism to do so

Lukaku cannot nor can he/will he press from the front as Pep requires that is for certain

Tbh I don't know much about Martinez, is he not as good?

Would be a shocking signing and he is not good enough for top tier teams and if I were him I’d concentrate on making it at wolves as they are his level .

We should have shelled out the 300k a week for the mercenary Cavani.

He'd have been incredible in our set up.

I was thinking that when I just read the twat had scored again. I was hoping he was past it and hopeless but those tossers have picked up another decent striker for fuck all like with ibrahimovic. We should have done a deal like that just for this season while we’re fucked over with injuries and covid.

I wish we’d take a risk sometimes especially just for a short term fix. It’s deflating when you see Pep categorically say no to any signing when it’s so painfully obvious we‘d absolutely dominate if we finished even just one more chance per game.
