New striker?

Difficult to agree, if we do a loan it's gonna be for a 3rd/4th string striker who may get 3/4 weeks.
We're doing ok as it stands, and have both Jesus and Agüero to return - think we just need to suck it up really
We have been sucking it up since the season started. The team would benefit a lot with the run in if we got another body in. 3/4 string does not matter when we have found goals hard to come by.

don't know what elucidate means but the cluwere stubborn not getting cover for VK. it cost us a CL imo.
they will do the same here.
Elucidate means to make clear.

So why would the club be stubborn this time? The club would have had a reason for not replacing Kompany even though it backfired. What's the reason with the striker?

We're 6 goals behind the red side of Liverpool, but we're 4 points better off.
I'm just not sure we'd be adding value to a side that has clicked recently - remember Bony

How could I forget:)

It looks like we will stick with what we have. I hope it won’t come back to bite us on the arse.

Who are these available on loan strikers that we should be signing in January that will improve the team?
Honest question by the way.
Is probably the largest reason, the other might be lack of room to register them (I have to admit I have no idea where we sit in regards to squad rules currently).

Edit: Since you said honest question I should probably clarify I doubt there is or are many great options and it doesn't have much to do with the club being stubborn.

whoever comes in will face a packed penalty area, unless we become a counter-attacking team, cant see Pep doing that. The players are already playing slick intricate triangles but run into a forest of legs and elbows, last-ditch blocks and teams that have done their homeework and have a good idea of our next move. I dont what the answer is, just pretty sure it's not a duncan ferguson/andy carroll type. The real Raz would be a good start, the Mahrez we thought we'd signed needs to shape up or ship out, Pep needs to work his magic on Gab, all the ingredients are there. Just my opinon...

am in the camp of buying a striker ? but are there any available at this time
all the big clubs will not sell because both the market value and getting a replacement don't add up
yes we could sign a cover loan or free agent ? but again are there any worth the punt without wanting a big money signing on fee and wages plus no guarantees he fits in and scores goals

sadly we will have to wait and see in the summer ? i also think we should not try and over spend and let the player make the move and not flashing big money making the club sell him. the player (striker) has to want to come and play for manchester city and the money will be market value

Instead of buying a striker we could just sell Mahrez and replace him with a youth player and be better off imo.
