New striker?

Chelsea. They had one main weakness and dealt with it with a single good signing. Obviously if by "improved" we mean "bought a shitload of big name players" then of course they did best.
I definitely agree right now Chelsea is a better team than PSG. They were “ready”. We’ll see at the end of the season if Poch was able to fulfill the squad’s promise

They will very possibly sell Richarlison to PSG in the remaining days, you watch

But that wasn’t my point. I only hypothetically mentioned him. I think if the club leaked early that X is our target, most here would start accepting it, whoever that was
But who do Everton replace him with?

Richarlson is a big player to lose this late in the window.

If I were PSG, I'd be going for someone like Jesus or Bernardo. What they need is someone with high energy in that front line. It won't matter in their domestic league, but in the UCL the lack of energy and nonexistent press will make things difficult for them against the best sides.

A striker tends to move into positions which a midfielder won't. That's why it's important to get the right striker.
Didn't Torres make loads of runs that no one passes to? That said Sterling made some lovely runs that were found so if he was a natural striker he'd score loads more.

Notice I said "if" Pep could remotivate him. We all saw what he is capable of last Wed night albeit against kids, and he's done it agin us several times. Just a thought.
Missed his chance with us when he went to Arsenal.
Scoring 3 against WBA kids is about his level now. Still a no for me, we have better players of a similar style

Surprised we haven’t seen En Nesyri’s name pop up in our hunt for a striker.

24 goals in La Liga / Champions League for Sevilla last season.

Only 24 years old so still plenty of room for improvement. Would be a bit of gamble, but has a lot of the qualities we are looking for in a number 9.

Given he has a release clause (I believe in the £50-60m) it seems like one of those deals we usually get drawn to.

Obviously not the elite number 9 that we have been chasing, but he could be a decent option.

Sounds good. Phone Txiki immediately;)

Oh does he have a release clause?

For some reason I think we might stay firm on Haaland and refuse to play the games with Mino, for me the standout option is Robert Lewandowski 5 in 3 already this season and an incredible 353 goals and assists in 353 league games in Germany he’s the perfect striker!

Bayern must be desperate to get rid.

Michael Antonio for me….. if its not Haaland, this lad knows the league, knows where the goal is, strong…….
