Last week i bought my ticket for the first home game of the season. City v Wolves.

I will be sat in the 3rd Tier (i prefer it up their as i love the view).
The ticket cost me 36 POUNDS!!! Thats the same price a Mancheter derby ticket cost just the season before!!!

Last season this would have been classed as a C catagory game (newly promoted team) and would have cost me 26 pounds. a whole ten pounds difference!!! to Some people thats a sizeable amount of money to be spending on a football match (even if it is for my beloved blues) in this current ecanomic climate.

Also i have just had a look online to see how much a ticket for the City V Arsenal ticket will cost me for the same part of the ground. It astonished me to learn it will cost me 46 POUNDS!!! So it is obvious the New owners have stuck an extra 10 pounds on the price of every ticket catagory A,B,C. I think this is scandalous. I simply cannot pay that for a football match every other week.

Soon our home games will be as bad as United, Chelsea etc. Unless we bring this up now it will get worse year on year and the only "Real" fans there will be the ones lucky enough to get a season ticket (which i will never be able to afford). The rest of the gound will be full of Execs and mega Rich "Plastic Fans"

Thoughts Anybody?

you should of got a season ticket, clubs a lot smaller than ours pay more than that we still get good value even more so with the players we have.

Cat A has gone up £2/3.

I.e. Cat A last season SSL £36 SSU £36
This season £38 and £39

but last season we saw vassell fernandes and evans (no offence to any of the aformentioned players)

this season we are seeing adebayor, tevez and barry

worth an extra few quid for me (although as my dad still buys my ST so my opinion my change when i come of age)

my memories not the best but i'm sure the arsenal tickets are £46 and ive just paid £36 for wolves games, this is not just a couple of quid rise from last year, will apologize if wrong

also not everyone can afford season ticket so previous post is a somewhat selfish one

Unfortunatley, thats not the case mate.

I enquired about my City v Arsenal ticket and it will cost me 46 pounds. It all depends on where about in the ground you sit. And i'm not talkig about the more expensive tier 2. If you are prepared to sit in the corner then it is a bit cheaper. But no one puts Blakey in the corner :-)

As i said, i simply cannot afford a season ticket. nearly 600 quid in one lump is just too much.

my s/t is £508.00 that works out at £26.73 per game,i got my sons junior at £95.00 so for the two of us it works out at £15.86 each, cant see a problem with that
