New white nets at the Etihad Stadium

I loved the days when goals and nets were different.
west ham at old Upton when they were onIy 2 foot deep.
Chelsea in the 70s were about 12 foot deep.
Newcastle staunchons.
halcyon days.

Remember all those mate. The best days.

I always thought they looked weird, and perhaps less of a target from the pitch.
But the main advantage was from TV and the stands where you can see through the black ones better (even though, technically, the net must be obscuring the same amount of pitch behind it, regardless of the colour)

No idea, I do much prefer it though. Don't think it's the most important thing in the world but I'm quite happy about it!

Yep totally agree I think it looks better when the ball hits the net.

Yes apparently so but surely that wouldnt make the club change to white!!
