It's almost bizarre-ingly reassuring that that we're seeing the Hughes era, over there.
As we had our Tevez ball demander, as they do too in Villa. As our team of lads were back then, the New York lads now are afraid to not give Villa the ball in attacking situations, even when there are slightly better options in the play.
Kreis needs to have more faith in Shelton and play him instead of Nemec and using the big Slovak as the battering arm sub. Using Shelton will force Villa play the ball earlier and more for the team. Calles looks a decent player, but needs more time on the pitch to find his rhythm.
NYCFC defo need at least one better defender.
