New York City FC Thread (new away kit P245)

They looked awful at times under Kreis, defensively they made Aston Villa look like world beaters. Will be interesting to see who they go for, Capello would lift the profile massively, but is he that great?

Capello isn't a Soriano type of manager and Soriano is heavily involved by the sounds of things in the decision making process at NYCFC. Personally I think they'll be going all out for someone who has a pedigree which is far more refined than the MLS then try and pay that person enough to make the switch to the MLS worthwhile.

I worry that the next step on Paddy V's road to greatness is managing NYCFC. It would probably be good for CFG as a whole, but would cause a problem for the CFA.

Personally I think Pat's far more ambitious than that. I'm not sure it'd be any great grounding for him to go and manage in the MLS anyway and i'm sure if we tried to do that he'd have other better options in Europe.

It wouldn't. Vieira's gone stale in the EDS. A change would suit all parties.

I think you use what is there. I think I would be asking Andrea Pirlo to do a player manager type of role for next season. He was a brilliant player and won everything. See if he takes to management in a league like the mls. He would get all the players on his side too from that team.
