Right. Must be hard to get loyaltyThose are huge markets, no NYC & LA teams aren't going anywhere. But teams do move. Columbus was looking to move to Texas from Ohio

The Rams left L.A. to go to St. Louis before moving back to L.A. The Oakland Raiders moved to L.A and back to Oakland. Chivas USA of the MLS went totally out of existence. Those are huge markets, no NYC & LA teams aren't going anywhere. But teams do move. Columbus was looking to move to Texas from Ohio

L.A. is an awful sports town. Outside of the Dodgers and the Lakers people typically don't care. The weather is too nice and there's too many other things to do.
Owners keep trying to make Los Angeles a sports town but it really doesn't take.
New York, once upon a Time had three baseball teams. Two moved away. It is possible in New York too.
Owners aren't going to throw money down a bottomless pit if they think they aren't getting a return on that money.
I used to read some on their message board and there was a bit of that, yes. They HATED him until he got there and started playing well for them.
He wasn't though. Yes, he started off poorly. But he was likely exhausted after a long season in England. If I recall, he was injured at the beginning of the following season.Lampard was shit for them. They missed the playoffs that first half-season he was there when he should've helped them into a spot.
