Your spot on there, first chance in a long while we have really had a chance to put pressure on them and we fucked it right up, and like you say there players and fans will get a massive lift from our defeat, if we would have won and Leicester kept them out for 30 or so minutes the tension would have got to both the crowd and players, but they can go into tomorrow's game knowing even a defeat doesn't make them worse off

I said at the start of the season that not bringing in another to complement the two we have ala of the Dzeko mould , not strenghtening our defensive midfield and our back four would eventually hurt us over 38 games and so it has.

That combined with the lack of strength above the shoulders to do it again are the two main reasons we will come up short this year.

We need to find " solutions " to replace DS and Ferny and have that striker who gets on the end of crosses , set pieces etc that we are missing in too many games.

These days if you don't freshen up each season you can easily fall behind but as Chelsea have shown time and again you quickly come back from falling off the pace.

I would be very surprised if we don't learn once again from previous failed attempts to retain the title however as Warren Buffett said the one thing we learn from history is that we don't learn from history.

Just watched Pep's post match press conference. He said he knew what was going wrong, indeed they had talked about it before the game but once out there the players still allowed it to happen. I sense come the end of the season a few are going to be in for a big fucking shock.
