All we've ever done since 2011 is prattle on about how we deserve the success we have now because we got 28,000 in the third tier. We're not wrong, and neither are Newcastle's fans when they say they deserve better owners than crooks like Ashley.

I think pretty much all football fans deserve to have an owner who has the club's best interests as motivation, and who tries to make some sort of progress, whether that's challenging for trophies, getting promoted or just building a team to be better this year than you were before.
 
I have a feeling this is going to be very tough. Having lost at the weekend and limped out of the Cup they will be looking for a reaction.

Our worst ever result under Pep came against a team smarting from an FA Cup defeat. Newcastle aren’t as good as Everton were and we’re much better but I expect a tough game.

Hopefully Walker performs tonight as he has been off the pace for a while and we can’t afford any weak links.

I’d take a scrappy nervy 1-0 win right now.
 
We can be a bit careless when we have all the ball and give away chances so keep concentration,we need to be on it and win all our remaining games,we know we can do it
