Newcastle (A) | Wed 27th Sept | EFL Cup | Post Match Thread

We have had this conversation before but he is 100% a Liverpool fan.
When we played Liverpool in the carabao cup final, he was sat in their end with a Liverpool shirt on.
His official club is droylsden.
When his former workplace used to do the wear a football shirt to work and bring a quid in for charity he never took part as he didn't want everyone to know he was a Liverpool fan.
Someone who works at City (who everyone here would recognise but few would know their name) that will speak to pep and the players several times a week also knows all of this so pretty sure pep knows he's a Liverpool fan too.
You have proof of that?
I know his official club is Droylsden as my boss is involved with a kids club in that area where Chris used to ref his side, hence why my boss knows him.
So if you can show me 100% proof he's a dipper I'll hold my hands up, if not I'm going with my bosses word.

I know a referee (a Leeds fan) who was on the same training course as him . He’s a United fan.

I’d also prefer to go out now with a 1:0 loss against Newcastle, rather than the U21’s getting hammered like Liverpool did, when they were forced to field a youth team against Villa a few year back.
Agree. Or worse yet having to watch a watered down squad at the dump literally a couple days after a league visit in which we're very likely to do them...screw that...from here until June its full speed ahead!!

for all our huff and puff at Newcastle we never carried enough of a goal threat, Alvarez on his own up front is not enough. Pep put a team out for going through the motions. Don't think Pep or anybody else would off been surprised by the result.

Last few days has revealed how many spoilt wankers follow City , a huge number of the Johnny come lately’s can fuck right off .
people are allowed express there views when we win or lose. Some go over the top when we win and some go over the top when we lose. How this team responds in the next few weeks with a severely weakened midfield will be much more important than a loss in the League cup to a better than average team that was allowed to kick and foul at will.

67% possession, 10 shots to 7, more corners, kicked off the park, over half the team missing, playing a champions league team away from home. Ortega hardly having a save to make (maybe one besides the goal) and you’re complaining? I assume you’re a Johnny come lately.
