A shame the Barcodes resorted to dirty tactics, they won my respect in the first half for their press and well-organised defence, but second half they turned dirty and were obviously trying to get our players booked or sent off. A shame we let Burn off a definite red by distracting the ref after he deliberately stamped on Jack after fouling him, but to be honest I would have reacted exactly the same as the Viking

Big result and a decent performance all round. My only gripe is can we not get someone to coach how to take effective throw ins? We give away possession a lot and seem to dither too much. You can see they are trying to find Erling more and it is only a matter of time before some of those through passes connect. Loved Erling standing up for his mate against the BFG.

Foden was immense when we flu d him early on. He's gonna be doing some serious damage to lesser defence-minded teams going forward

So much to like about that win.
I won’t focus on any negatives.
That was a professional job done.
Everything, even down to Pep addressing what needed to change and subbing Bernie on early enough and the whole team backing each other up when their shithousery was in full flow on Jack.
It was s as proper team performance. Tough tough game but job done.

Agreed 100%. This is the type of win that a team must grind out to win the title. Encouraging signs from City, dare i say the winning run has finally started? :)

Also, how the f*** did Trippier not get a yellow for the ugly foul om Grealish? Feels like this happens every game now. Frustrating.

Great win as they are hard to beat. Two great goals too.

Personally didn't think we played that well today, particularly second half when they really should have scored. Too many wayward and undercooked passes today from many of the team.

On to the next one. Got to keep winning.

Good win. Not the most entertaining game of football I've ever seen. Both teams gave the ball away too much. KdB just having an off season.

Quite a good performance for most parts. KDB not quite at it but foden,grealish and Ake were excellent.
