I didn’t say his distribution wasnt poor and your second point grow upI agree with the original post, Eddy's distribution was piss poor and maybe it's a good thing that he only had one real shot to stop

I agree. I think a forward line like Real Madrid would have scored three or four goals yesterday. The sooner Stones comes back the better. Kev is a legend but perhaps should not be starting two games a week any more. That said it was great for us to grind out a result after missing so many chances against Forest.I don't rate him and simply discussing his attributes on here.
It was an excellent win against a good team, but if we want to get back to our known levels, then we can't afford passengers, and I have also included Kev in that appraisal.
Kev has plenty of credit in the bank, but Akanji is a huge weak link and better attacks than Newcastle yesterday would have made us pay, certainly in Champions League, as Pep always stresses those margins.
Don’t know if you noticed but we won 2-0With eddies distribution at the moment, which usually is his saving grace, would it not be worth trialling ortega for a few prem games. Even if it’s just to give eddie a kick up the backside and a reminder he’s not untouchable. I mean ortegas distribution against arsenal in the cup and Bristol was fantastic- he was competent with his feet anyway and has most likely got better at city. Plus, his stop shooting ability statistically is a lot better than edersons.
LOL... He certainly isn't the best shot stopper is my point and if he's having a bad day (he was) then you don't need any shots for him to save do youI didn’t say his distribution wasnt poor and your second point grow up
No idea what you are on aboutLOL... He certainly isn't the best shot stopper is my point and if he's having a bad day (he was) then you don't need any shots for him to save do you
Not a bad reply for a puerile 59 year old (I thought)
You told me to grow up GrandadNo idea what you are on about
Yeh and I thought it was a fantastic win against really tough opposition and I came away from the ground genuinely pleased. I’m not sure what the relevance is though to my point- his distribution was poor and we have a really competent back up keeper who has done well every time he’s played. I’m not saying sell him he’s shit am I. Ortega is also a part of the squad and I’m just saying I don’t think it’s a bad thing when a player is underperforming from his usual level to demonstrate he has competition.Don’t know if you noticed but we won 2-0
Thanks my grandaugher is 7 weeks oldYou told me to grow up Grandad
I think pep is waiting on stones to be fully fit to replace akanji for the harder games. Because i dont find it coincidence with playing ake (left footer) at left back hes playing dias at lcb rather than dropping akanji and playing laporteI don't rate him and simply discussing his attributes on here.

thought eddie was pissed he was that bad yesterdayMate, were you at a different game yesterday?
Pep was doing his nut in re Ederson kicking the ball out of play.
And he clearly could see Kev was having a very poor game.
