Two great goals and a win, I’ll take it and regroup. What’s the story with Walkers socks, couldn’t quite see what they are about, anyone know ?

Least said the better. Laboured, sloppy at times but we still got over the line. That’s why we’re champions.
Feel dirty saying it but Mendy, Mahrez and Fernandinho poor today. Sterling, Stones & Walker, very good. The rest were just ok. Need to make the most of the break now. Pep needs to sit down with Leroy and sort any issues out.

I think Fernandinho hasn't really got going yet this season. I'd give Gundogon a run in the holding role.

Sorry but Mahrez looks completely and utterly lost.
A real dissapointment thus far and had another shocker today. Looks out of his depth currently.

He looked lively and threatening today,his touch is sublime and his vision superb.He fits in wonderfully with our other array of technicians.

Mendy wasn't as good today because Newcastle had worked him out. As soon as he got the ball they blocked him in with 3 defenders.

No complaints. Can’t be brilliant every week. Kyle deservedly Motm and Sterling always looked dangerous. Jesus not at his best and Bernardo is shaping up to be Merlin’s long term replacement. Mendy is very suspect as a defender. He could cost us big one day.

Just got home and that was too tense for my liking. What's with Fern and his misplaced passes? Anyway 3 points, all good, relief. Sterling was good.

The best thing i can sake about Lakey's commentary is he was a wonderful player.
