Newcastle Thread - 2023/24

The more I watch them, the more they remind me of early Klopp Liverpool, especially at home.

Mostly a team of athletic hard workers, sprinkled with a few players of real quality.

A Liverpool starting 11 from 2016-2017
vs
Newcastle 11 from this season.

Sounds like Tonali will be banned for the rest of the season after tonight.
(And the first bit of next 10 months)

What's the betting (no pun intended) that Milan knew of his shenanigans and sold him before shit hit the fan? Talksport seem to have ideas but Milan are denying any wrongdoing. It'll be a huge blow for the Toon as he's been an excellent signing

My guess is Milan knew, because the sale of Tonali was a little unexpected in the first place. Unfortunately for Newcastle, it'd be hard to prove Milan's knowledge of the situation.

Gonna hurt their season, but all Newcastle can do now is keep him fit and training, and they'd still have a good player in 10 months. At least he's not injured for 10 months or like, banned for life.

This covers most of the FAWSL but for a few it becomes hardly any!

At least newcastle will throw their arms around their bet cheating player, poor guy. wtf.

I dont like the newcastle love-in but there again they are not threatening the big boys yet and certainly are not going to reach the heights we have, not soon anyway. I guess they are at the stage with regards to the media, that City were in 2012ish.

But it goes to show, the media dont care about human rights, being state run, just about new clubs taking over the history clubs.
