Newcastle United 2024/25

As ever. Being bullied by the red cartel seems acceptable to some clubs, in this case Newcastle. They will always be either mid-table or yo-yo until they stand up for themselves.

The Premier league is a fucking joke.
Newcastle are getting kicking at the moment over the so called wattsapp leaks.
Maybe they will now start fighting back.

Whilst we can all guess at who is responsible for the "leaks", I'd love to follow the trail back from the "journalist" to the recipients of the original message and discover how it got from A to B. To me, it all seems too targeted at certain clubs, too be anything other than coordinated hacking.

The fact they triggered an extension for Dan burn says it all really.

You think if they weren’t hamstrung by PSR, or whatever they are calling it this week, he would still be in the squad??

Me neither…

@Chris-NCL you have already alluded to PSR holding you back.
Do you agree that the red cartel are also looking to do you over at every opportunity?
To me, PSR and the red tops are one and the same.
You will never be succesful if you keep allowing them to dictate the rules. It seems it only City standing up to them.
Yes. PSR/FFP is there to protect them.
Christ, even Simon Jordan is admitting that now.

Your losing momentum, that's not a good look, losing Ashworth was not a good for a club with ambitions and the Saudi's seem to be losing interest.
Apparently Ashworth didn’t exactly get along with everyone when he was here. Regardless, when he refuses to work, then starts working for Man Utd behind your back, there is fuck all you can do really.

Personally I would have kept him on hardening leave until his contract ran out, and made it clear to him that if he did anything football related, even playing with his kids in the park, then it would be classed as doing a role he’s paid not to do. I would have done that just so that when his contract ran out, he was out of the loop on things.

As for the Saudi’s losing interest. Mate, honestly I thought every Man City fan would know not to listen to people in the press like Miggy Mouse Delaney.
In the last few weeks they have had an FAB meeting where they have said that they are in stage 2 of looking at what to do with our stadium. Reports are that the minimum would be a total rebuild of SJP, with the increasing possibility that we move a few hundred yards up the road to a new stadium, with a price range of between £1bn-£4bn being quoted.
We have even announced a new board member whose background is in land acquisition to facilitate this.
Our Chairman, and the chairman of PIF was even seen wearing NUFC merchandise on a recent golfing tour.
