That said one day Pep might actually start them both, I’m still flummoxed as to why Doku had never played on the wing he’s actually played most on.

He did, first game, against Fulham. Foden started on the left, they were swapped before half time, as he had been awful, he was much improved on the left, and hasn't been on the right since.

He was a figure of ridicule before Howe got there and turned him into a midfielder. He’d scored about 5 in 75 games for them as a striker.
