To be fair, the forecast shows this evening's gale arriving in Newcastle at 22:00 tonight. There's a strong possibility that Newcastle Airport will be forced to close for a while around this time.
Returning by road, or stopping overnight in Newcastle, would seem like a more sensible option for the squad.
And that's before discussing the environmental issues around a 150 mile domestic flight!

Tend to agree Kaz and I`m not expecting a result so I wont be too disappointed, but hope we win for the sake of the travelling fans.
