Great win. We controlled the game, could and should have scored more against a team on a high after a big win last week, had a whole weeks rest and prep to play us.

They barely troubled us, and considering they are expected to be challenging for the title weren't that impressive, just tried to kick us to bits.

A stronger ref and they could have had two reds.

We controlled that from the off (apart from about 5 minutes) and could've/should've won by more.

Phil was everywhere and deservedly motm but Walker, Akanji, Rodri and Kovacic were superb.

Great win tonight, huge banana skin after wednesday night but solid from the lads.

Pep and boys on the lap round the pitch really looked close with fan base and not like a phoney lap some clubs do. What a time to be a blue!

Bit nervy towards the end when we looked tired but that was a mightily impressive performance.

Foden was a joy to watch, Kovacic faultless again and very positive driving forward, Walker with a solid performance and Akanji was brilliant as well, he just continues to silence the doubters.

Great win an utterly professional performance.

Rodri slightly down from his immaculate best, not a critiscm just not fully in the groove yet.

We could have scored a couple more goals, plus Eddie didn't have a meaningful shot to save.

The best player on the pitch without doubt imo was Phil Foden.

Job done hopefully the lads will get a couple of days off to put their feet up, and we then go again......CTID

The ref was atrocious. A good job we don't have really dirty players in our team otherwise it would have been very different.

Very very important win. Hardly gave anything away. We were the better side forc sure and needed to dig deep.

Don’t understand why at any point Pep didn’t bring in a few fresh legs. But how can you argue with that man. You could see some players needed to be subbed (Rodri?).

If they do moan then good for them, it's their right, but I'm with you, that was a great performance. I have to say, kovacic is really really really fucking good.

Brilliant performance with tired legs against a very good team. Phil, Kovacic, Akanji superb. Gvardiol very solid home debut aswell. Everyone was at least a 7/10. Top stuff City.

Phil was superb, Rodri is a proper metronome, so measured in his passing, Matty Kovacic has been here for years, Gvardiol hasn't even broken sweat! Walker supremely athletic, Akanji fantastic compared to Wednesday in an unfamiliar role and that nice Ruben Dias is immense. Sometimes you can just forget just what a baller Eddie is.

For them, very disappointed with all their time wasters, worse was the at will fouling they got away with, just try and play football you twats. Ref especially bad, certainly trying to even things up. Well done lads onwards and upwards.

Terrific performance given the circumstances against a pretty decent side too. Foden was immense and Akanji was everywhere. They all played their part superbly. Recharge your batteries lads and hopefully we'll have Stones & Silva back soon to continue the march to the top again against the Blades. Oh and a new signing would be nice cos that squad is a bit bare and we need bodies if we're to do the quadruple ;o)
