62.6% for a City win.....can't remember the last time a vote has been this pessimistic.

We've got this, 3-1 to The Old Sky Blues.

56% on the exchanges, we’re drifting like a barge. Is the market overreacting to the KDB injury or does it know something else ?

You don't win games based on what you've previously achieved but having won the treble 12 weeks ago, won our opening game away comfortably against a newly promoted team and won the Super Cup on Wednesday night is a pretty good indicator we're a hell of a team.

Conversely, the evidence for Newcastle being the reincarnation of Brazil 1970 is one victory at home against Aston Villa and finishing 18 points behind us last season.
Based on the above you clearly didn't read, or didn't understand the point - that's clear from the first paragraph, which points to HISTORY (as does the last part of the 2nd paragraph)

I didn't state Newcastle were Brazil 1970. I did state they're currently in a better position than us - as we're without 3 of the best players from last year, probably 4 as Bernardo won't make it, and we're behind prep wise. We've brought in 1 replacement and history tells us it takes time to adjust to Pep's style of play. So a point wouldn't be the end of the world

Why is Ruben still not fit?

Maybe since last summer, he and laporte had a surgery and not sure why but I’ve noticed dias hasn’t looked 100% since than . I’m assuming it’s the same issue .
Dias was concussed last week and has had to undergo the 9 day mandatory evaluation process.

This doesn’t guarantee that he is over it yet, just that he couldn’t play during that process.

4th competitive game of the season and our manager (correctly) states the team is far from their best, that we have not had enough time to recover from our last game, several key players injuried, a bench that probably will be more or less without senior attacking options. Up against a top4 team from last season who plays with high energy, is good on turnovers and had a flying start in their first game.

We are Man City and at home we can beat any team but it doesn't exactly sound promising does it.

Some people were worried about Burnley. Newly promoted team. They'll be right up for it. Vin will want to prove something to Pep. The crowd will be baying.
If you want to — and some on here do — you can always find a reason to worry about every match. For myself, I'm just bloody glad Saint-Maximin is no longer playing for them. He played the game of his life against us at St James's Park.

Oh and by the way, the poll: when you predict something, it does not mean that you want that outcome. Or that you're somehow not supporting your team. What happens on a poll on a forum has no bearing whatsoever on the actual match.
