Saturday night after a mid week game in Europe.......piss taking cunts.
That’s quite normal. We’ve even got a later kick off time.

If teams want longer than that, all the Europa League and Europa Conference teams would play all their fixtures after those games on a Monday night. But they don’t, they play on Sundays. And the CL teams who play on a Wednesday play on a Saturday after them regularly.

Newcastle won’t have a better chance to tear us apart. Best team in the league in transition and we looked so vulnerable to transitions v Sevilla, plus the tiredness/travelling…

Tough fixture, against a very good Newcastle side. Hopefully, Stones, Bernardo and Dias will be back.

Ederson
Walker Stones Dias Gvardiol
Rodri Kovacic Foden
Bernardo Haaland Grealish
Honestly think there’s no chance Pep throws Gvardiol in against Newcastle whilst he’s still in the adaptation phase. Gvardiol on the bench for me, Ake to start.

Will be a real struggle to break them down without Kev. They are very solid and need John, Ruben and Bernie back to get a positive result.

Fear we might see a freak Leicester-type tonking after late night and short pre-season.
Naah. We are pretty solid at the back and in midfield as well if Bernardo, Stones and Dias are back. We may have trouble creating, though. I can see a 0-0 the way we are misfiring at the moment.

Will be a very tough game. Our worries are compounded by the depth of our playing squad . We need incoming transfers. Fatigue after our wonderful efforts in the super cup. Our fans have to raise the bar for this one and create a white hot powder keg atmosphere like no other. The Geordies will travel in numbers and will be excitable as will we
