No one but the Glazers and their bankers knows that. They were notified as paid off around the time of the bond issue in 2010 but whether any of the cash raised went to repay those isn't clear. Could also have been paid off by raising finance somewhere else, possibly against their retail property portfolio. doubt that happened though as they'd have been up to their necks in mortgages the and quite possibly in negative equity. One day, when they're gone or someone hacks their Cayman Islands/Delaware accounts, we may find out. I do suspect we will find that those shares of theirs are providing security for a lot of debt.

He's not alone, YouTube is full of arse wipes like him spouting their ill informed bile about City.

But make no mistake! This f**ker has been front and centre....



Despite the fact I loathe him, he could play his part in changing the narrative and exposing the closed shop operating not just in the Premier League, but across Europe, but he won't rise to the challenge, it's simply beyond him.

An independent investigation into the EPL takeover process

After recent events leading to the unsuccessful takeover attempt of Newcastle United, this petition aims to engage the United Kingdom (UK) government in establishing an independent investigation into the English Premier League (EPL) takeover process and Richard Masters who was fundamental in orchestrating the deal.

The takeover negotiations came to a halt on 30th July 2020 after the Saudi backed consortium withdrew their interest with one of the key reasons being the "Prolonged Process". This announcement was released after 4 months without a decision.

Despite the takeover being a confidential process, much of it was played out in the public domain and by the end of the Newcastle United takeover saga, it was apparent that the dispute was only with the Saudi backing due to their apparent human rights and piracy abuses.

However, many of the concerns were initially raised by outside influences who would directly benefit from this particular takeover attempt failing or who already have personal issues with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Those groups proceeded to mount a personal attack on Saudi backing by raising piracy and human rights concerns before using the partner of reporter Jamal Khashoggi who has no connection to English football in their efforts.

Mohammed Bin Salman who is the crown prince of Saudi Arabia is an ally of the UK government and Royal Family has been integral in supporting the UK with the outbreak of Covid-19 along with reforming the KSA policies on human rights.

As a result of the EPL's negligence and Qatar influences around the Newcastle takeover, the city of Newcastle has been deprived of some well-needed investment into the local football club as well as the city as a whole.

It's bound to fail regardless of the wording, but talk about missing the point!

Human rights, piracy, Qatar, Jamal Khashoggi, these are all noises off, useful sticks to beat down the bid, they're not the reason it was doomed. Private companies are not held responsibility for the policies of the country where they're based, even if they are a part of the investment portfolio of the country's sovereign wealth fund, and the petition should've made that clear.

City fans know why this bid failed and who was behind it.

Geordies should look no further than the usual suspects, Arsenal, Liverpool, Utd, Chelsea, Spurs and whoever else these fuckers could convince, with promises of crumbs off the table.

I know a few Newcastle fans who are genuinely decent lads and are gutted.

The problem is loud mouth arseholes like that angry bloke are the problem. If you're going to continually use disparaging remarks like "oil and petrol money" then don't fucking cry when the other PL clubs lobby together to stop a Saudi takeover happening.
