They should go for Potter. I don’t know if one of the current elite would ever go for him, but give him Newcastle’s funds and he’d get them playing really high quality football.

A window of Sam Johnstone, Tarkowski, Lingard, Raul Jimenez would be a decent start.

Couple of Geordie friends seem to think that's going to be their starting point.

I'm not totally up to speed but the gist I got is that it was all a misunderstanding and he's never called City fans out, just the club!
