If they become another club to definitely finish above Spurs I am ok with Spurs taking another step towards ultra mediocrity & don’t see it another nail in the coffin for the game or any of the other bullshit cliches the diprags sprout.

Newcastle fans, get ready for the shitstorm that will follow from the Media/other supporters if/when you start winning trophies.

Expect a lot of stories regarding :
Human rights/Oil money/Arabs
Bought success/havent earned it
Empty seats/plastic fans (believe me, when you go far into every competition and have to travel to Wembley for the 16th time and can’t afford it or get time off work)

Brown people from the middle east pumping money into a club : Very bad - should not be allowed
White Americans taking money out of clubs : Good - the more the merrier

Lets hope in 2/3 years Newcastle can take United’s or Liverpools place in the top 5

I don’t believe this is just about the piracy issue. Two big court cases were starting or about to start and the PL looks to have shit themselves based on the possibility they might lose and also the evidence they’d have to reveal. They’ve jumped at the chance to settle as soon as things really got going.

Can see a project like thst appealing to some players. It’s a beautiful part of the world if you’ve got serious money, especially in Northumberland.

It will to a point but we had to throw lots of money at it before ffp to attract better players to make the breakthrough and ffp will probably prevent them doing it so quickly.

It will be interesting to see how the press react. They love the old cartel but it could go either way. I'm sure we'll hear the usual myth about a proper history club, passionate fans etcetera trotted out. They need a big pr drive, maybe Keegan back in some capacity.

Yes and no on that one. They've certainly suffered some shit in their time similar to us but their fans behave like entitled Billy big bollocks a lot of the time
