Yeah. But they will be in the championship.If Toon go down, they will be outside the clutches of the Premier League, they can then spend what they want safe in the knowledge the EFL won‘t be able to touch them if they stay in the Premier League. UEFA also won’t be able to touch them until they qualify for Europe and then the clock starts, a bit like the bin dippers when they breached FFP but got away with it, as per usual.

Took Emery a long time to show signs of improvement at Arsenal, if that was him adjusting to managing in the Prem they'll be OK and he'll hit the ground running if however, it was him taking forever to develop a system for the players he had available they're indeed fucked.Going down, then ....
