Agree. they need a good director of football to be in charge
Risky appointment tbh. Did a decent job at Bournemouth, announced he was staying then left 3 days later for Burnley where he didn't do great, left for personal reasons but soon rejoined Bournemouth.
Mind you, fans will probably take anyone over Bruce but not the sort of name to entice players is he

I think Howe’s a really good manger at getting better out of a team than the sum of its parts. Bournemouth stayed up for four years and only went down the other season because they had by far the most injuries in the Prem.

Too far North for Howe.

I bet he's on silly money and a fuck off clause if they go down.

Not sure thats a good appointment. He‘ll play good football in the long run but dont think hes got the ability to fix them short term and avoid the drop
I think he might do OK in the short term, at least.

He has experience of scrapping it out at the bottom of the Premier League with Bournemouth, and he kept them in the top flight for five seasons.

Think it’s a good appointment. He did great at Bournemouth and kept them up, when really they should have gone down years ago, with their budget

Is it just a myth that Howe thought Burnley was too far away from the south coast? If it isn't, and there's some truth to it, someone better buy him an atlas!

This will end in tears don’t think he’s the type who’s going to get fans behind him. After all the hype think they wanted big name to keep them up … maybe big Sam ;) there’ll be needing snookers after Christmas to stay up.
