He has a lot of potential as a Manager, but Newcastle will make a couple of big name statement signings and I wonder if top european and south american players will be attracted will know who he is.

It was Robinhos face when he met Hughes at the hotel in London, that gave the game away, for us!

I can't be alone in wondering why, if Howe is such a decent manager, then why has he been out of work for over a year at such a young age?
I wish him luck at Newcastle, i think he'll need it

I think that several they approached turned them down, not wanting championship football. If Newcastle think that tons of tfr money is all that is needed to attract a top man, they need to think again.
What is their vision?

2030 Vision isn't it?

Ake for 40m going back to a manager he played under and made captain the leader
Eddie will rather prefer the one that the red dippers signed from Preston in the winter - only 50 million quid! That's a bargain!

Despite all the praises from the media, and them flinging him at every open job in the PL, with Eddie Howe, it's a case of 'there's always a better choice'. Like how Everton went with Rafa instead, Crystal Palace went with Vieira. And this time, he was the choice after Newcastle approached Mourinho, Conte, and Emery.

Howe is their Mark Hughes. He'll take Newcastle so far, and then they'll get rid of him for a better Manager.
Mark Hughes then was better than Howe now. At least Hughes overachieved with Blackburn and signed some decent players with us.
