Howe is better than Bruce but not by much. I always maintained he was overhyped at Bournemouth. They played OK with the ball, which should be an improvement, but they weren't as good as people made out. Their execution of attacking moves was noticeably lacking.

Out of possession they were as soft as Playdough, which won't be an improvement. He'll probably get them out of the Championship next season.

Played expansive football possession football early on in his managerial career then changed tact to park the bus! That’s why now he hasn’t had a job for a few years! You become a manager you have a way to play football you stick to it like Arteta has, you lose all respect if you change principles.

His solution to watching Bournemouth sliding fast down the table was to take his players out on team building exercises.

I hope Newcastle have plenty of Kayaking and Go-Kart facilities.

Wouldn't be surprised to if they bought Ake in the summer.

He probably didn't envisage quite how benched he'd be over his first 2 seasons, he was great for Howe at Bournemouth and Newcastle desperately need a CB.

And they might give us the £40m we spent on him.

why did they wait this long to make an appointment. surely its been 3 weeks or so since they fired Bruce. Bloody joke.
I think that several they approached turned them down, not wanting championship football. If Newcastle think that tons of tfr money is all that is needed to attract a top man, they need to think again.
What is their vision?

Pretty standard, Pep took our lot paint balling when we were doing terribly.
