The knob on the right holding the rope.

Dark glasses, black hood up, black face mask. Deary me!

Palace fans have now got another set of fans hating them, bar just Brighton.

Find these palace fans quite boring, they seemed to have watched every documentary on European ultas and become fan boys. They probably have no idea about the subject but think it would be cool to make a banner and wear masks because that's what they would do at st Pauli or some greek team whoose name is to long to mention. Bet they wouldn't have the guts to walk around the streets of James park

Banner reported because it is offensive and being investigated by Police?

Do these thin skinned Newcastle fans do Irony?

A bit tasteless and crass (in style) but better than waving fake notes and bragging about winning the European cup in the 1980s.

Everything on that banner was true.

It’s the hypocrisy that sticks in the craw of most people.

If the boot was on the other foot, and a mega-rich Saudi had invested in Palace, you can bet your bottom dollar there wouldn’t be a squeak of protest at Selhurst.

Well yeah, but hypocrisy isn't a criminal offence.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the banner. The BBC are reporting it like the figure in the picture is just a stereotypical Arab figure (therefore racist), rather than quite clearly a picture of the crown Prince, who is the chair of PIF. There's not a single thing on the banner that's not a legitimate criticism of him, and it's also a completely fair criticism of the laughable nature of the Premier League's fit and proper person test. Getting the police involved is nothing more than Newcastle fans getting pissy because their club is getting criticised and trying to use the law to silence that criticism.

Remember the Ajax banner when we played there? Racist as fuck no matter how the entitled G14 wankers tried to rationalise and justify it

What exactly are the police investigating? What a complete load of shite, there's nothing wrong with the banner. I'm assuming they're looking for the stereotype Arab depiction angle but there's a clear likeness to him, I'd say they've gone out of their way to make sure that's clear.

you can agree or disagree with it, like it or hate it or have no opinion on it if you wish but there's nothing criminal about it at all and the fact the police would even have to announce an investigation as to whether or not they can somehow deem it racist is a disgrace. I don't even think they're having a go at Newcastle, I interpret the banner to be a much bigger dig at the Premier league than the Saudis and Newcastle.

Well yeah, but that's because it's just a picture of a generic Arab. It it was clearly a picture of Sheikh Mansour, then it wouldn't be racist.
Possibly. Whoever made the banner was smarter than most, which makes me think it wasn't the bottom feeders who are holding it. In the context of what is going on, though, the intention is clearly Arab owners bad. The PL and the history clubs aren't helping in keeping it down.
